Mark was a man who had the power to amplify his raucous laughter a thousand thousand times through his friends and fans (weren't we all a bit of both?) until the force of it shook the walls of our doldrum reality and opened up in us this tantalizing possibility that life could be more; more ecstatic; more playful; more zany; more heartfelt. That was his magic.
