I can hardly comprehend the fact that one of my Renaissance Faire mentors and friends is gone. I will never forget the first time I met Mark, in the Witches Woods at Black Pointe in the 1996, when he made me feel the "rain." Mark always had a smile for everyone he met, as he filled our minds with his beautiful "word pictures." In a word, Mark Lewis WAS Faire, for he encompassed everything Faire meant to so many of us. My favorite of all his stories was The Highwayman, and I dedicate it now in his memory. Thanks for sharing your heart and love with so many, Mark Lewis. You are and will be forever missed!
