When I have used the phrase "every fiber of my being" I haven't taken the time to consider what that really means for me. When I heard of Mark's passing, I felt it in those fibers I take for granted. Mark was a part of my life when I was a child, and it was at that time his stories, his willingness to "take a moment" to listen to a "kid," his exuberance for life, his huge heart, and genuine interest in others became interwoven in to the fabric that makes me, me. I consider myself so fortunate to have known him and count him "ohana:" it is clear he has touched so, so many other lives in so many ways. My prayers are with his family and loved ones!
