Back in the late 1980s I hired Mark to come by my studio to let me record a few audio samples of him playing his collection of recorders. I'm not even sure Mark would remember this... but his wonderful recorder performances can be heard in the feature film, The Return of Swamp Thing. To be precise, there is a love scene between Swamp Thing and Heather Locklear. The flute sounds are Mark's. He really helped to make this a memorable score. The motion picture soundtrack will be released on vinyl next year. I will most certainly dedicate the album to Mark. I've attached a mp3 of the track Mark played on.
