When I was first getting into Storytelling and Oral Interpretation I had the immense honor of being Mark's stage manager at The Great Dickens Christmas Fair. He gave me some of the most heartfelt advise about performing that anyone can receive- "The best stories are those that come from inside yourself." I think about that anytime I'm picking a new piece or reflecting on a performance.
