I worked for an organization in Eugene that Mark frequented and I helped him often. We'd talk about all sorts of things. He reminded me of Robin Williams, very animated. When I finally figured out what he "did"...I let out a verbal "oh my gosh, that makes total sense." What a character! One day, I recall finally, we talked about names because I was pregnant. He said, "avoid Mark" really bluntly and I countered with inquisition. He suddenly started barking like a dog, only saying, "Mark! Mark!" It gave me a big laugh, which I needed that day. He had a sparkle. He was jovial. RIP Mark. You lit up my days for years and I always looked forward to interacting with you.
